Today, the Michigan Gaming Control Board authorized its 11th online gaming and sports betting operator. Gala bingo byker. Following the authorization, Four Winds Casinos and partner Pala Interactive launched online casino and online sports betting at noon on February 15, 2021.

Four Winds Casinos in Michigan are operated by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. Currently, 11 operators are authorized to provide both online casinos and online sportsbooks in Michigan. The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi announced this week it received approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board to launch the betting at its casinos. Pokagon Tribal Chair says COVID-19 “has accelerated interest in providing online access and added convenience to customers across a variety of industries and gaming is no different.” He adds the Pokagon Gaming Authority and its casino operations have been planning for the approval of sports betting and online gambling for for “quite some time.” The Pokagon band says guests will be able to play a variety of games while also making the same sports bets online as they do inside Four Winds Casinos’ Michigan locations. Game play includes a variety of slots and table games.
